after making the cover, I used the dimensions off that to create the pages (section sown making it a total of 60pages). With some gold ribbon that I purchased recently from my local market. I also used gold paper for the end pages.
I was thinking about distressing the book, but that would have ruined it. so I shall leave it as it is.
