for the last couple of weeks I’ve been working on a couple of designs for two book covers for the Penguin Design Awards 2012. One cover was for a Penguin book called One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest which had to be adult themed. The other was for a Puffin book called Grimm’s Fairy Tales which had to be child themed. I decided to keep the theme for both of the books simple and clean, making them both aesthetically appealing for the desired age groups that the covers are aimed towards.
