Books! Books! Glorious books!

I created this Journal for my friend’s birthday; I obtained some nice oriental material for the cover of the book, and also got oriental paper for the end pages.

For my next journal I used some old warn leather giving the book an aged aspect

I have been experimenting with more oriental type books, printed off the cover patterns and used them for the covers. I have also improved the binding of the pages, making them stronger and more durable.

Books

After watching the latest Doctor Who Episode ‘Killing Hitler’ I decided to make River Song’s Journal…and it’s become a bit of an obsession now, but I still have many more experiments to do 🙂

This book is made from a recycled Starbucks Bag

This book consists of 120 pages, and hand drawn and painted the image on the cover.

This is the Doctors Diary, first shown in the episode ‘the impossible astronaut’

Tempus Fugit

For this uni project I had to create a book based on the song ‘My! My! Time Flies’ by Enya. I used a combination of media such as Printmaking, photography ect. The images were then scanned with InDesign. Once the pages were printed they were then section sown, binded together, then I created the cover. I then had to include a disk in the back of the book for my flash animation

(in the animation the rabbits rotated around like clockwork)
